Surroundings
The Medoc, it is its prestigious vineyard
.It is the wine trail which shells the most famous castles.
It is also one seizing diversity of landscapes with the largest estuary of Europe and its small harbours , the green of the forest of pines and the 100 km of beach océane uninterrupted, it is a walk through the marshes and their breedings of horses and the aquaculture.

Richard lighthouse and its museum :
In the year 1843 a lighthouse is built on the riverside. It appears not to be tall enough, another lighthouse is built in 1870, it is metallic and 31 m high.
In 1982 the village youngsters decide to restore the lighthouse ; the mayor supports them and in 1992 it becomes a patrimonial site.
Every day except tuesdays 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm

With the arrival of the Steam train in Station of Soulac, after the speech of (true) the Mayor of Soulac (in behaviour 1900, and in the style of the time !), Large Parade from the Station to the place of Basilica, with : all travellers in costume, the Brass band of Boucalaise, dancers of cancan, old bicycles, old cars, the bus 1900 and barouches.
Saturday 18h30 - Guinguette 1900
On the Sea front, come guincher and to restore you in Guinguette of the Casino of the Beach.
Sunday morning - the Large Parade of Sunday
Second parade to open the day, since the Place of the Basilica until the Beach !
Sunday 17h00 - Large final Photograph on the Sea front.
All the participants in costume are to invite to be reproduced on the Large general photograph on the Sea front.
Sunday 18h00 - Departure of the Steam train
Everyone is invited in station for the departure of the train, to conclude environment 1900 by a last spectacle, and good-byes until the next year.
